Twenty4 Sport Inc., owners and organizers of the WORLD 24 HOUR MOUNTAIN BIKE CHAMPIONSHIPS , is a Ontario Canada – based company and is recognized for it leadership and development of 24 Hour mountain biking globally. Dating back to 1994 and it’s 24 Hours of Adrenalin series, Twenty4 Sports grew from one event (1994) into 13 across (2003) North America with over 10,000 participants annually.
Supported by partners over the years such as include Kokanee (Labatt’s), General Motors (Chevy Trucks), Motorola, Chrysler (Jeep) , Mavic, Gatorade, Clif Bar, GU Sports, NiteRider Lighting, Saris, Louis Garneau, Ellsworth, Sock Guy. 24 Hours of Adrenalin and the World 24 Hour Mountain Biking Championships have been a respected name in mountain biking since its inception in 1994 and is regarded as the most challenging 24 Hour endurance event on the planet.
Cycling enthusiasts remember the epic battle from 2006 between Craig Gordon and Chris Eatough which has become a cult classic film Solo24.
Each year, athletes from more than 20 countries compete for slots to the World 24 Hour Mountain Bike Championships held this September 14 – 16, 2012 Canmore, Alberta Canada.
